Two persons were shot and killed while anther injured by unknown men here on Friday. Station House Officer (SHO) PS New Karachi said the unfortunate incident occurred near Nagan Chowrangi, when two armed men came on a motorbike, opened multiple fire targeting a Suzuki bearing number plate CT-8084 and fled the scene leaving three persons (who were in the vehicle) critically injured.

The deceased were identified as Naseebullah, 35, son of Sultan Muhamamd and Noor Ali, 44, son of Niamullah while the injured Muhamamd Rafiq was given medical aid at hospital.

Police said they have recovered empty cassettes of 9MM pistol from the crime scene. The motive of firing was not clear. Further investigation is underway.
